For studios and developers
Test your next game before you announce it.
Summer Games early access is a private program for studios. Test prototypes under a studio handle and see how real players respond, with sessions and events included.
Early access is by request. Requests go to founders@summerengine.com.
Test ideas without putting your studio’s name on it.
A big studio can’t try a strange idea without it becoming news. We set up your listing under a studio handle. Your company name isn’t shown to players, so they judge the game, not the name behind it.

How it works
- 1
Request access.
Tell us what you want to test. We set up your studio handle and walk you through publishing from Summer Engine.
- 2
Playtest privately first.
Start with a private playtest for testers we add with you. Nothing is public yet.
- 3
Launch under your handle.
When public release opens, put the prototype on Summer Games. Players see your studio handle and your game.
- 4
See how players respond.
See sessions and the events you define, so you can decide what to build next.

Questions studios ask
Do we keep the rights to our game?
Yes. You own your work and keep the choice to publish elsewhere.
Who sees who we are?
We set up your listing under a studio handle. Your company name isn’t shown to players. The Summer team knows who is behind the handle.
What can we put on Summer Games?
Prototypes, experiments and finished games, single-player or multiplayer.
Which platforms will our game reach?
iPhone first. Android, Mac and Windows are coming for every game on Summer Games. Console is coming for selected games.
The Summer app for Mac and WindowsCan anyone sign up?
Not yet. Studio early access is private and by request, and we onboard each studio with the team.
Tell us what you want to test.
A few lines is enough: what the game is, which platforms, and when you’d like to start. Your studio name is optional.
