Lunar Lander
Soft landings. Hard scores. One tank of fuel on a unforgiving moon.
About this game
One small module. One unforgiving moon.
Lunar Lander is the 1979 arcade classic rebuilt for touch: a phosphor-green descent onto a jagged lunar surface where every second of thrust costs fuel and every landing is a negotiation with gravity.
Rotate left and right, feather the main engine and settle onto a marked pad — slow, upright and on target. Come in too fast, drift too far sideways or meet the ground at too steep an angle, and the module shatters into tumbling pieces.
Three pads, three kinds of nerve. Raise your score by choosing the harder landing spot and preserve as much fuel as possible. Compete in a global ranking with other pilots. How softly can you land?
It all runs through a CRT-green arcade lens — thin vector terrain, scanlines, bloom, a blinking star field and a distant planet — with the low rumble of the main engine and the dull hiss of the attitude jets.
